Book Beginnings on Fridays: 1/29

A weekly meme hosted by Rose City Reader: "Please join me every Friday to share the first sentence (or so) of the book you are reading, along with your initial thoughts about the sentence, impressions of the book, or anything else the opener inspires. Please remember to include the title of the book and the author’s name".

"He was dead. However, his nose throbbed painfully, which he though odd under the circumstances."

Voyager by Diana Gabaldon

Well, the fourth book in the Outlander series is off to a great start. Nothing like waking up after a battle thinking your dead but are surprisingly not dead.

  1. I've read the first book in the series and liked it well enough that I may be continuing it some time. Happy reading! :)

Check out my Friday 56 (With Book Beginnings).

  2. I've always wanted to read these books, but I haven't had a chance yet. Here's mine: Fridays
